Happy Thanksgiving to everyone reading. I hope today gives you a good meal, a little breathing room, and time with good people.

I also wanted to share something that meant a lot to me this week. I had the chance to do one of my favorite scuba dives, dropping beneath the oil rig Eureka and exploring the biological wonderland that thrives in its hulking shadow. It’s one of the most extraordinary underwater environments in California, a place where steel beams have turned into a vertical reef crowded with life.
